I am a local beekeeper here in the heart of South Central Alaska. The beautiful Matanuska-Susitna Valley is where I gather plants and herbs, along with beeswax and honey from my hives to hand-craft simple, natural skincare and body products.
I grew up in a remote Alaskan community, where resources were used carefully and sustainably. In a nod to my roots, I have begun adding new items to my shop that I create with the intent of promoting sustainable living through reusable resources. Beeswax food wraps, sourdough bread bags, hot/cold therapy packs, and hand-felted wood dryer balls are the newest additions to my shop.
Follow us on Facebook at Alaska Yarrow and Yin LLC to see new products, learn how I forage, process, and harvest plants, and document my 2025 beekeeping season. You can also get updates on local vendor shows I will be attending, and keep up with our summer adventures as my 4-legged companion Jagger and I hike, kayak, and explore our beautiful backyard we call Alaska.
Happy Trails from the land of the midnight sun!
